PaintingsPosted by Debbie Craddock 17 Jun, 2018 19:05 Recently I have been working on this painting of spring bulbs. They are from left to right daffodil, hyacinth and tulip. This is my first attempt at painting bulbs and the hyacinth in particular was very interesting to paint.
I am a part time artist working in Surrey. I paint botanical subjects in watercolour and also enjoy portraying some subjects in graphite. I have a Diploma from the Society of Botanical Artists and have exhibited and sold at their London exhibition a number of times. I am a member of the North Downs Botanical Artists group which meet regularly and have held several successful exhibitions. I gain inspiration for my paintings from walking and riding through the Surrey countryside and the plants I grow in my small garden.
