PaintingsPosted by Debbie Craddock 20 Jan, 2018 12:05 This teasel was found while walking on Pulborough Brooks in April last year. I liked it because the teasel head is at an interesting angle which gives the plant character. The main challenge we transporting such a prickly specimen home!
I am a part time artist working in Surrey. I paint botanical subjects in watercolour and also enjoy portraying some subjects in graphite. I have a Diploma from the Society of Botanical Artists and have exhibited and sold at their London exhibition a number of times. I am a member of the North Downs Botanical Artists group which meet regularly and have held several successful exhibitions. I gain inspiration for my paintings from walking and riding through the Surrey countryside and the plants I grow in my small garden.
