Spring Bulbs

PaintingsPosted by Debbie Craddock 17 Jun, 2018 19:05
Recently I have been working on this painting of spring bulbs. They are from left to right daffodil, hyacinth and tulip. This is my first attempt at painting bulbs and the hyacinth in particular was very interesting to paint.

On 13th May I have a stall at Flittons Garden Centre craft fair in Wallington. I have recently been working on some more of the small original paintings for cards as shown below. The stall will also have small framed paintings and cards made from prints of my paintings.

Winter into Spring

PaintingsPosted by Debbie Craddock 23 Apr, 2018 21:04
I picked up this small twig with some lichen to paint and then added some snowdrops and violets and a few fading grasses to make a more interesting composition and show the transition from winter into spring.

Craft Fair

PaintingsPosted by Debbie Craddock 18 Mar, 2018 17:13
This is my stall at Flitton's Craft Fair today in Wallington. It was a very friendly place with lots of regular stall holders who were very welcoming. I didn't expect the weather to be freezing with snow on the ground in March but we had some customers and I sold some cards. I am hoping to attend again in May when hopefully the weather will be better.
